Mission Overview

A CubeSat designed entirely by students.

The primary objective is to learn the process of roboust system engineering, for all elements for the process. The end goal is a satellite with every element made by the team, by this evert disicion from design, construction, testing and validation is done inhouse at our lab in C4-104 AAU.
The mission payload
The first satellite by AAU (AAU-cubesat) had the mission objective of taking an image of Aalborg. This required a camera, and active altitude control of the satellite, as well as a radio capable of transmitting the image back to a ground station on Aalborg.
